Not many bikes worthy of following up the FZ6, but I'd say the VFR is one of them. Great bike. Certainly a sad day to have to part from your pride and joy, but life moves on.

Let's just say the FZ6 is...IRREPLACEABLE!!

Don't hate me beacuse I'm beautiful....

Well i signed the papers on the VFR last night. It will stay at the dealership untill the hard luggage comes in mid October and gets mounted, then I will take delivery.

Here are a few pics:

We understand. Little bikes grow up and move on. (Hopefully traded on bigger bikes)
Big bikes die and go on to judgment. (Well, recycled in this case)
Good luck to you man. Stay in touch!

soo any updates bone??? how ya healing up??

Yes I am healing, but slowly. Right leg is still swollen (I call it 'Frankenleg'), but mobility is increasing by the week. Going to be a long recovery. Only set back is waht was an abrasion on my inner lower thigh near my knee, has for some reason tunred into a deep wound (hole...yeah a friggin hole!!). So I have a 2" diameter 'hole' that is about 1/4" deep and looks nasty. My Dr. was not sure what to make of it. I'm freaking out thinking flesh eating disease or something, but it's nothing like that, but I am being sent to an Ulcer and Wound speacialist to see what they think of it (I'll probably be the youngest patient they have ever seen!). regardless, it will have to heal from the 'bottom up' so it's going to take a long time.

I am moving around pretty well now and almost walking without a limp. In fact I'm teaching the last Novice Motorcycle course of year with the safety council. It's nice to get back into action. I'm itching to rdie now....mainly beacuse I now have this sitting in my garage:

..and yes, I already have already started my mod wish list and have pruchased a replacement "Ejection Seat" decal for the rear cowl along with some TechSpec Tank grip material to make my own tank protectors/grips.

Stay tuned! BonemanVFR.com might be one step closer to reality...

great news on the healing and the lovely new ride waiting for in the garage . . .

but in the mean time I guess it's gonna be easy mods and adding to the list by trawling the VFR forums . . .

Glad you are recovering. The abrasion sounds like potentially got superinfected a little which impaired healing. Wound specialist is a good idea.

WOuld be very curious to hear your comments on the VFR once you ride it. I am looking at a used 2007 this weekend that is an awesome deal..
