I'm still trying to picture riding this bike around in the dirt.

But it still gives you a lot of sport-riding ability. It's definitely more geard towards street and sport-riding but will give you the option of exploring the scenery much more than an FZ. I think it's a great little niche they have a monopoly on......the "streetsport" dual sport.

Too bad it costs as much as it does. But if it's your only set of wheels riding year round it could be managed.

Ducati makes some beautiful bikes. This one though, eh. The flaring nostrils on what looks kinda like a quasi-dirtbike fender... ewww. I'm sure it's a darned good bike and fun to ride. Aesthetically, not to my liking. Definitely has that V-Strom look. I guess if you're riding it you're not looking at it so it doesn't matter. Riding it is apparently the bomb!

I have riden the new Multi and I will advise anyone whom is thinking about one. unless you are prepared to buy on don't ride it. the power in combo with the suspension is very adicting. if I had the cash right now I would trade in both of my bikes on one in a heart beat.

Exactly, that is why I have not test ridden one. But every rider I have come across who has the new Multi-Strada has nothing but positive things to say. But I agree, what scares me the most is that there are a lot of electronics. But unlike some others, I love the front end, and the half naked look.
