Dual headlight mod

Black w/ yellow stripe connecting to the solid yellow ?
No. Black w/Yellow is the high beam connection to the H4. You will see in 62 that there is nothing connected to the filament on the right. That is the low beam filament. Connecting that filament to the unused connection on the high/low switch (the black lead going nowhere in number 55) gives you the factory high/low control. TownsendsFJR1300 has added a link to the original BD43 mod, which is what I am showing you...

I understand 😉

I was reading from my 07' S2 factory shop manual,in the back.
I'll take another look at which specific model I was looking at back there,as there's a few.
I have an 08' FZS6XCL
If you're looking at the S2 manual you need to reference the schematic to component list in that manual. You may be looking at the S1 schematic and should look at the list for that S1 manual.

I would like to clarify that as a moderator I am tasked with making an effort to keep us clear of Yamaha copyright material. Some years ago Yamaha legal division notified our forum that we were in violation of copyright by using the tuning fork symbol.
This required changes and included copyrighted materials like service manual reference.
I apologize for any inconvenience it's causes and it is also an inconvenience to me.
I really respect and appreciate all the members that participate in helping others. That's one of the things that makes this forum so great!
