Hi all,
I took the dive over the weekend and drilled out the Baffles on my 2004 Yamaha FZ6.
Hi, I have uploaded 3 videos here. Each video noting the different sounds of the exhaust at different stages.
The 1st video is the sound of the Exhaust as standard -

The 2nd video, I have drilled into the baffles with a 12” 10mm Drill Bit, making a small hole in each baffle -

The 3rd video is the sound is the sound after I had made bigger holes with a 12” 22mm Drill Bit. As you can hear, this sounds much louder and better than the stock exhaust. This is a quick way of making your exhaust sound louder, without spending £300 - £400 on a new exhaust.

I drilled with the exhaust still on the bike, and it took around 10-20 minutes. All you’ll need is a powerful drill, a 12” 10mm Masonry Drill Bit & a 12” 22mm Masonry Drill Bit.
As you can see, it is much louder. Not as good as a £200 - £300 exhaust, but it's certainly better than the Stock Exhaust.
Thanks to all on here who have posted their tutorials and help in doing this.
