Differences in rear shocks for different years

I have a 2007 FZ6 and have been checking ebay for a spare rear shock. I noticed some of them (like one off a 2009 FZ6) have a red spring installed. I am just wondering if the spring is of a different weight or if it's the same as mine, just a different color?

Any help will be appreciated!

You have to be careful when searchimg ebay for FZ6 parts..Some will be FZ6R parts. I believe that is what you may have looked at. OR someone swapped the spring on it.
