But I went to the Edmonton Indy races!

Great weather, by the afternoon temps into the high 20 °C's, and plenty of action. Here are some teaser pictures of a motorcross exhibit, women, and Indy racers. Weird, of all the pictures, I managed to not get one of the first place winner, Scott Dixon, but managed some shots of second place "Dancing with the Stars" Helio Castroneves in car #3 for the Penske team, only female Indy driver in this event, Danica Patrick racing for Andretti Green in car #7, teamate Marco Andretti in car #26, who bumped her to place her back in postion, Graham Rahal for Newman Haas Lanigan in car #6 to be taken out by madman E.J. Viso of HVM Racing.....,

and amazing Canadian driver Paul Tracy :canada: in car #22 to start 15th and end up in a forth place finish not even having a ride or sponser a week ago!

Sooooo.... did you have a good time? Cool pics! Man, that would be cool to go to. I'm right down the road from Daytona... gonna have to hit a race there sometime.

Again, thanks for sharing!

Be thankful you went to the Indy Car race and not the Brickyard 400 (or watch it on TV). Jesus, that was the worst excuse for a race I've ever seen in NASCAR!!! A "competition caution" every 10-15 laps??? The longest stretch of green-flag racing was 12 freaking laps. How the hell can Goodyear bring a new tire to the second biggest race of the year for a car that they've never tested at Indy and NOT expect problems??? Morons!

At least Kyle Busch didn't win. That's about the only good thing that happened today.

Goodyear :ban:
