just wondered whose bike i bought, figured one of you had a great time abusing it for the first 30,000 or so miles ... sooooo fess up !

it's kinda rare to buy a one owner bike, fella i got it from only had it a month (prolly flipped it for profit) and admitted he was a HD guy, didn't like 'fast' bikes.

30,000 miles at time of sale, well past that now
pilot powers (ordered diablos to replace em, they're squared off bad)

Also I've never seen frame slider bars like what is on that thing? Is there one on the other side too? Not really sure those will protect case/frame contact should the bike go down...interesting.

sw-motech engine guards. i have them on my bike as well. i don't know if they work better than frame sliders. mine were on the bike when i got it. i've added highway pegs which really help to give another position for longer rides.

yepyep, just a little stained ;-)

sounds good to me, not too loud, not to wifffy.

the case guards are what was mentioned already, i haven't tried to 3-point them yet, guess it's a good idea to know beforehand though. will do in the morning when i'm fresh and ready to pick up the bike.

it has cosmetics: popped the blinker through the RS fairing, small nickle sized dent on tank, and the windscreen is missing the bottem screw.

for the folks that wanna know the bottom line: $2700 could have gotten it for less, but i'm not complaining. :cheer:

Nice bike, since you are near me we will have to get together and see what has been done for maintenance. In the past 2 and a half years I have replace tires (Cycle Gear mounted PR2's), oil & filter (many times), coolant, brake fluid, fork oil, air filter, head bearings, greased swing arm bearings and replaced the spark plugs (twice). As clean as it looks one would think the maintenance had been good.
