Diagnostic Mode

Anyone know if there is a way to enter "Diagnostic's Mode" on the odometer. I have been told that this can be done on other high end Yamaha's and you can get fault codes as well as see if your bike has taken a fall.

Just wondering if anybody knew how.

2004/2005/2006 Diag mode

To enter diagnostics mode, you have to press and hold SELECT + RESET, then turn the key and keep them pressed for 8 more seconds.

It'll appear dIAg on the display, you can release them now. Afterwards use select to read the various codes.



To leave the dIAG mode, simply turn the key counter clockwise.
