So I'm doing a local run I do very often near where I live in Oregon. Took a break and started chatting with some guys with r6s and while we're chatting a motorcycle goes by.
"Hey, that's an FZ6!" I exclaimed because it's a rarity to see them
.
So the guy doesn't stop and we resume our r6 conversation. 10 minutes later, I hear his aftermarket exhaust roaring back torwards us - looks like he's coming back.
Mystery Man pulls over and we chat a bit about his awesome FZ6. It is one of the most beautiful, well-maintained fz6's I've seen. I was ashamed for him to see mine.
So, of course the conversation comes around to this wonderful forum:
"Do you know of the 600 riders FZ6 forum?" I ask.
"Yeah I do".
I pause for a second, and judging by his well-maintained FZ6 I excitedly say, "You're FinalImpact!"
"Yep!"
The funny thing is, I had messaged him two days prior remarking on his knowledgable posts and noticed he was from Oregon and innocuously asked if he wanted to go for a ride sometime.
Crazy how it turned out! The chances of being on the same route, same time, and he ended up turning around and stopping are very slim. And it was the same guy I had just messaged! Crazy, such a small world we live in. Who knew we would be going for a ride so soon?
He definitely knows his stuff and is a great rider, nice to meet ya [MENTION=15974]FinalImpact[/MENTION]!
TL;DR - Coincidentally met a guy from this forum I had messaged two days earlier
