I found a used 04-06 Corbin seat for sale, but I have an 08 FZ6. What's the difference between the 04-06 and the 07-09 seats? Would the 04-06 fit my bike?

I have an 07' and have the Corbin designed or the 04'-06' model installed. As far as I can tell, the only difference between the 04'-06' and the 07'+ Corbin is the section around the passenger grab handles. The earlier model seat has a larger "cut-out" around the front part of the grab handle.

Hope this helps!

If it helps I swapped my 06 Corbin with FZ1inNH's former 07 TS seat, and it fit perfectly!

Even though it's different around the grab handles, does it still latch on properly and everything?

Sure does! In Fact, when I bought a new Corbin, I went with the 04-06' model because I like they way they look better.
