Coolant Hose Life

Summer, oh summer is around the corner. Maybe 10 cold fronts away, at least here in Vic.
I am wondering when anyone has thought about changing their coolant hoses. All of them. ie kilometres or age.
My fizzer has done 40,000 km and is 3 years old. When should I think about replacing the water hoses?

My theory, saves getting stuck when a hose lets go aye.

I believe you're supposed to check them every 19k Km and replace them at least every 6 or 8 years. I don't have the manual in front of me though. I know that checking them was part of my 12k mile check.

Off topic I know but are u serious that it hasnt gotten hot yet.....its already starting to cool off here in atlanta and when I say cool off I mean goin fromm 100ish to 90ish

Just by looking at them it should give u an idea on the health of the house, check for cracks or signs of it starting to dry out. Just my 2 cents
