Hey fz6ers and etc, So i got a lot of my parts coming in and I have a question, I would like to get some new handlebars that have more lean to them, I know its a tour bike but, I am 6'4". I just want to have more lean in it thats all, I am not really sure what the measurements are on the handlebars. So im not really sure what fits or doesn't fit.

I fount a K4 headlight in my local area, I dont have it yet, im supposed to meet up with the guy in a few days, I also have lower Yamaha belly pan coming in too, so when its fully done which will be a month or so, I will post some pics.

Some other stuff im going to do it paint the header flat black, paint parts of the engine, (not the frame).

Thanks

just out of curiosity, what did you do to your fairings and such? I know someone who just bought a crashed FZ6 and might be interested in some of them.

Re: Converting to the naked Today (paint!)

Ok so today I painted, it was a nice day, so why the hell not, so hear are the results. I painted the engine with a 500f heat resist paint, i did not paint the frame, thought it would look cool overlapping with silver so, i was quite pleased with the results. No drips, so tis was  a good day! Now I wait on my drag bars, which will be in next week sometime.

SORRY ABOUT THE BIG PICS! :(

You know I'm in for that ride. I know Geoff and split my HID kit with you, RedFZ6, so it would be gooooood times.

Can't wait to help you knock out that KMP headlight wiring, Geoff.

Oh yeah, that would be a lot of fun, we can even start new thread in the midwest and see how many are in for that ride

EDIT: sorry for hijacking your thread Geoff.

I know at least one other guy who would most definitely be in. His name is TJ and he has a 2006 Blue FZ6 with Buell headlights. He isn't on here, though. He lives in STL.

that would be cool to get an fz6 ride together. We will work more on this soon as missouri's crap weather goes away.
