^^^ USed FZ1 are a bargain right now. I got my '06 with a nice set of mods, OTD for $4,000. I also saw an '08 or '09 in Craigslist with 600 miles, bone stock for $6,250. I decided on the my '06 so I could have plenty of $$ for mods.
I'd guess that moving from an FZ6 to an FZ1 could be done for very little money; if one was willing to sell their bike and find a nice used one.
