I just got my FZ6 on Monday. I have rode it about 120 miles so far. I noticed today that it sounds different in neutral. It is hard to explain the noise it is making. But when I pull the clutch in it stops making the noise. It is just a little louder until I pull the clutch in then it stops. Any ideas what it may be or is it normal?

I haven't listened for it myself, but it's probably normal.

When you're in neutral with the clutch out, some parts of the transmission are still turning.

When you pull in the clutch, those parts stop turning.

Thanks guys. I think that is what it is? The parts in the transmission turning while in neutral. I was scared there for a minute. Didn't want to have to pay for repairs so soon.
