So here is my dilema, i am stuck between the new Heated jacket liner from Gerbings with the new micro wire tech. or just stick to the classic Gerbings heated liner with out the Micro wire

Micro wire = $200

No micro wire = $110

what would you go for?

how many days out of the year will you be using it?
for how many hours a day?

do you go touring to cold places?

if it's just occasional use, then get the copper stuff.

did you see my post about getting a discount?
i think you can buy the microwire for less than $200.

yes i saw it just a bit ago and planned on calling them tomorrow, To see what kind of deal I can get. I will use them about 2 to 3 times a week 3 hours total each day "long commute". I have the classic gloves that I bought off craigslist and love them. I was going to go with Tourmaster but didn't know if the gloves would plug right into the jacket.

From what I hear, the micro wire stuff is worth the extra dough. Supposed to heat much more evenly, and there are no lumpy spots.
