I just got my bike on Thursday and it rained Saturday night, all day today, and will keep raining Monday and Tuesday. And it's supposed to rain later on in the week after all this. What the hell?!?!?

Yes, the weather really does suck in Chicago. It's rarely nice, no matter the season. September is my favorite month there weather-wise. I'm not sure what's worse, the flat land and lack of ocean, or the horrible weather.
8.5 years was way more than enough for me.

Last weekend Saturday it was sunny out when I was looking at the bike I wanted to buy and by the time I was signed and out the door it was raining. Rained Sunday-Tuesday. I hope to ride it this weekend.

ya, Wi weather isn't much better. it's going to be real nice this weekend though.
Think of it this way.......
At lease we have a bike to ride when the weather gets a little less wet!! This truly has been a miserable season in Chicago starting with late November and has not let up since!!!

Yup - weather has been hit and miss here too. Yesterday the wind was horrible but today we were able to get in a ride. :thumbup:
And - we had frost last night. It killed all my tomato plants so I had to go and buy more today.
Next week looks like more hit and miss.

UPDATE: Chicago weather no longer sucks. So far 2 weeks of awesome weather and next week is mostly ok.
