I read this article back in March of 1998,and while I was reading "The New 4-stoke Engine" thread it came back to me.This engine running 11.0 + compression idles like a new Cadilac and put's out 409hp on 93octane fuel and 390 somethings on 87 octane .... and IT'S SUPER CHEAP!! :BLAA: to build !! :cheer: have a look for your self.. Small Block Chevy Should Have Built

Very interesting article. What do you think it would cost in today's $$$?

I've always liked the idea of a short stroke motor and smaller valves. Too big and driveability really drops off.

But can the FZ gear box handle the torque???? :BLAA: Youuuuu's be needing new front springs 4 certain! :D :D

To tell the truth I think it would be cheaper today to build this motor using EBAY and other online sources only part of the build that would cost more for sure would be the machine shop work.....

But its a $h!tty Chevy :BLAA:

FORD POWER !!!! :D

LMFAO :BLAA: Chevy is a Big Pile of Junk, but FORD or pronounced as Mr.Henry Ford's cursive writing spells it TURD is just that... :BLAA:
