Ok this thread is for all the people like me who have mod fever but an empty wallet. What i want to do here is compile a list of all the mods that can be done for less than $100. Things like paint, airbox etc.

Here's what i got

Airbox Mod
Black out Passenger pegs
Paint Rearset plates
Remove centre stand
Sticker removal (not really a mod but aesthetically important IMO)
Oil Cap (pick your mod)
Gas Cap ("")
Radiator plate paint

Any more I am missing? I want levers badly but until i have cash i am stuck doing "mods" like the ol' "paint engine bolt black" mod

Please help me be more productive

Also you can shorten and paint the swing arm fender, paint the windscreen & fuel cap, another great mod is to flip over the rearsets rubber shims so the metal side faces the rearset, this mod stiffens up the rearsets so they dont flex.

Dunno if this counts as a cheap mod, but here in the UK I've found a local guy who specialises in automotive upholstery, and he's agreed to reshape my girlfriends saddle for £20 so she can put at least one foot flat on the floor.

+1 on the headlamp mod too, I did it the el cheapo way with one 90° spade terminal, a scotchlock, some insulation tape, and a foot of wire from an old extension lead.

Crude, but very effective

DUDE...what exhaust do you have with the stock covers? Looks pretty sweet.

ps: front forks black - '06 and older have silver ones :)

That's my $50 straight pipe slip-on's, made them myself> 20" piece of flex pipe & two stainless steel bolt on tips, all from Autozone. My friend welded the Y pipe then painted it with Krylon bbq paint, it's insanely LOUD.
