Brisk Spark Plugs

So one of the advantages of being unemployed is I can take a break from the job search game and look at whatever I want, whenever I want.

So I bumped into Brisk brand spark plugs over on OOP Racing.com. Products - Motorcycle Sparkplugs - OPPRACING

BTW...OOP has some really cool stuff, check out the new Gilles Tooling fully adjustable rearsets.

Brisk claims that on a 600cc bike you'll get 1.5 hp increase and have dyno sheets to prove it, damn it , "Brisk Premium Motorcycle Spark Plugs are unique spark plugs that are designed to increase horsepower, increase acceleration, improve throttle response, reduce emissions, improve fuel efficiency AND it will mow your lawn! Just kidding!"

Granted you can't feel 1.5hp, you can feel a smoother, better responding engine, so there may be some merit to their claim.

I know a few of you have used a premium plug and were very happy with they. Anyone tried these out? However at $17.50 a pop I'm a bit skeptical.

Laid off about 10 days ago. The good thing is there are a lot of jobs in the Austin area.

I take it you have a 'proper' job then. Last time I was there, low paying jobs at grocery stores had like 200 people or more applying for a single position.

There are actually a lot of very good jobs that pay in the high fives and low sixes. I've found a few government jobs that look good too. And...I'm considering opening my own business.

First I'd heard of it too, good luck with the search! For every door that closes, another one opens; but the hallways can be a bitch.

And isn't it irritating to have time to shop while you're unemployed, while not feeling good about spending any money? Sounds like you're optimistic and the opportunities are there. :thumbup:

Boy no kidding Botch. I was considering building up a dedicated track bike and had done some shopping and bidding and then...BAM!!! Oh well. Really, I've been ready to do something different for a while now. I've had the "own my own business bug" for several years and I really want to give it a go.
