Bris Fizz

Oh they where teasing the guy who was in a accident on two wheels (i'm not sure if he was on a scooter or a real bike, i missed the first part) and they made a comment about him being girly, and he said he was riding side-sadle :p

hmmmm.......now that would make cornering interesting!

Rode Mt Glorius today. Man, what a ride! Scared myself a few times - not that I was going too fast, just that I'm still getting used to the bike and how well it sticks to the road. On a dirtbike, using the back brake to steer/slide around corners is normal, on a road bike this = death.
Only on one corner was I properly scared, one of those recomended: 20 kmph hairpins I came in a bit hot, however, I remembered some good advice - turn in harder because you are probably not riding the bike to its full potential. Got around fine.
the most hair raising thing about the road is the amount of wet patches due to lack of sun. Sure was fun though! I'll gt some pictures next time I'm up there. I'll also wear some warmer clothing. Coming through Samford, was nice an warm, on top of the mountain, was damn near frozen ;)

next time bypass going through Samford and do Mt Nebo on the way to Mt Glorious. You get to play with the twisties legally at 80km/hr and for more fun sneak over the posted limit. Don't forget to turn left at the end of Glorious (over the back) and stretch your legs on Split yard creek road.

Speaking of which... It's been a while eh?

Finally got a week end free, and some interest from some non-forum riders around these parts (R6 and FZ6). We were just talking about going for a ride on Sunday morning.

Who's keen, you know you want to! :Flash:

kman.

Well, the usual over the mt's, split yard creek, back home through Fernvale, Warrego Hwy, Ipswitch Mwy. Dunno, may just turn back b4 Fernvale and do the reverse.

I've got a nephew's b'day party on Sunday arvo, plus free tickets to the WWE at the Brissy ent cent! Should be good for a laugh. Man my bike is dirty, I feel so guilty... lol
