Rode Mt Glorius today. Man, what a ride! Scared myself a few times - not that I was going too fast, just that I'm still getting used to the bike and how well it sticks to the road. On a dirtbike, using the back brake to steer/slide around corners is normal, on a road bike this = death.

Only on one corner was I properly scared, one of those recomended: 20 kmph hairpins I came in a bit hot, however, I remembered some good advice - turn in harder because you are probably not riding the bike to its full potential. Got around fine.
the most hair raising thing about the road is the amount of wet patches due to lack of sun. Sure was fun though! I'll gt some pictures next time I'm up there. I'll also wear some warmer clothing. Coming through Samford, was nice an warm, on top of the mountain, was damn near frozen
