So, I'll talk to my co-worker and convince him that we should get in his Prius and accelerate hard into a stone wall, suffer some long lasting injuries, wait for the free boat lawyer to settle the case and bingo were what maybe two years out and a couple hundred thousand richer after fees?.... this crap has got to stop!
Does Toyota have problem, yes, are they working on it, yes, better than any American car manufacturer would!
I have been driving my Dad's 2000 Tundra for the past month, that Toyota just put a brand new frame under, with new leaf springs, shocks, brake lines. etc. It took a year but they did what was right! The dealer was a bigger screw job than the manufacturer!
The Oldsmobile Bravada that I used to own needed a complete valve job plus new u joints, and a complete egr wiring harness at 60k, what did they cover, just emissions stuff, everything else was not covered.
Tons of complaints go completely unanswered every year. I also find it suspect that not long after Toyota grabs the larger market share, boom there in front of Congress!! Someone tell me the last time another manufacturer's President was in front of Congress to address SAFETY concerns and not financial ones??
