Bloody great Weather!!!

Man i love Spring time....today's weather was just perfect for riding! about 22-23c, not a cloud in the sky, a breathe of wind, sun just "warming" on my back while riding, and best still, cause everyone else is busy "working for the man" on mondays...the Twisties were pretty much empty...

The roads were pretty clean, the scenery was awesome...what i slowed down for enough to look at...the straight bits normally!

So it was off to Lobethal, for a Bacon & Egg Sanga, a Cherry Ripe, and an iced coffee... :thumbup:

I only live 6.4km's from the "start" of the Twisties, and it's only about 45km's each way to Lobethal...so i was home in less than 2 hours...It's days like today i remember why i love riding my bike's so much!

Get out amongst it people as often as you can right now...this is PRIME TIME for riding right now...dont make excuses, it dont take long, and the worries of the world just dissapear just as fast as the kilometres roll over on your odometer!

Cheers Wolfman. Glad you're enjoying it down under. Weather in Paris today: very windy, very wet, very grey and very cold. Not looking forward to my one hour traffic commute this afternoon! Not even a crepe could cheer me up! ;)

Oh well, we have just had winter, so it's WOOP! WOOP! for us...i have ridden in France...mainly the South, and your Spring & summer weather is awesome too!:thumbup:
 
Mmmmmm....new chain and sprockets:drool:. Had a quick sunset test ride myself. No traffic, as everyone is at dinner, and isn't it magnificent out?:steve:

Magnificent is 100% correct! Am thinking a ride a little later on might be in order as well...once the Missus has passed out!

Im hearing you Jamie , Kel & I are off on a breaky ride before work tomorrow & then I may entice a few of the Bris Fizz faithful into a breaky ride on Thursday :rockon:

Yeah, it's almost criminal not to be riding your bike, if time allows, in weather like this! In fact...people should MAKE time!

I cant get out again till Thursday now...but if the weather is anything like today...i will be donning the leathers for a spin!

A early morning breaky ride...should put you in a great mood for work!

Is all good...i aint gonna go far anyway...just a quiet one up to a quiet little road we both like...

Am thinking there will be many more nights in the very near future when we can continue the Night riding habit!

This i can understand...but i reckon it's almost factual!

I will no longer ride in the Outback just after dusk, or at night, if i can avoid it...it's just too freakin scary!

On the bright side, just got back from a ride...it's even nicer outside tonight!!!

I ride home @ 00:00hrs 5 nights a week,but its not too rural so I just get dogs,cats,rats,birds,fruitbats,rabbits,those massive moths the size of a sparrow:eek:.I just missed a dead roo one night(sh1t blue lights)so they are around:scared:

No probs mate,I just still have a very clear pic in my head of a 'roo up close.

Having said that ,I actually rode my bike to work today,first time for 2 1/2 months ,and it was great .Took a while to feel comfy again,but it was great !
Made me remember how much I had missed it.
I didn't ride the same road though.............went the more populous route and let the cars run interference for me .
I feel great right now :)

I can completely understand how you feel about Skippy jokes :thumbup:

On to more positive fronts , you rode to work which proves you cant keep a good man down :D :rockon:
