I was able to throw a few parts in a batch of stuff I was having black anodized. Both sets of footpegs and clutch lever and adjuster.

I can't believe how well the black parts matched the OEM mount!

The darn front brake lever is chromed, so I had to paint it. I just drilled the peened end of the pins off holding it together, and drilled & tapped them for #8-32 stainless steel screws, so you'll never know it wasn't stock. Camera battery died, so no pics of it yet...

Those look nice.

I've read that cast aluminum can sometimes have problems with anodizing, was there any kind of prep work done first?

Thanks.

The guy doing the anodizing had his doubts, and said that die-cast stuff doesn't usually take, but he'd try it anyways. And it tunred out beautiful, surprising even him. The chromed front brake lever was the surprise, and downer for me...Rustoleum seemed to work fine though...We'll see how it holds up...
