I was wondering what everyone thought the best battery is for their fz6? I have a 2005 FZ6. And the battery has died.

Hi, the stock battery should be a GS with the following specs:
Type: GT12B-4
12 V/10 Ah (voltage capacity)
1.0 A (10h rate Amp)

However, a lot of people prefer the Yausa battery YT12B-BS.

Both of them should cost more than 100 euros (do the conversions for $ or £), the reason is that they are Gel-based and they don't require maintenance during their life. However, if they die there is not much you can do, not from what I know at least

Check these threads for more details:

TIP: keep your revs up 4000rmp for the charging to take effect ;-)

Cheers
