Bat Man is on the dark side

Just got in from seeing "The Dark Knight" First off it is amazing! It is a must see.

However the bike bat man is riding uses the car tires... hoosiers to be exact.

I found it funny.

Going to see it next monday, heard a story that bale is not happy cause they would not let him ride the bike to the premier, they said only one person can ride the bike because it is so unpredictable.

In general, because of the extreme heat, the summer is the slow season for Las Vegas, so you can find better deals as far as hotels, shows, etc. Doesn't really attract much conventions, they are more abundant during the winter, which wil pack the city

As far as tourists goes, sometimes I wonder if I'm actually in Europe or the UK. As probably close to 2/3 of the tourist are from across the pond. The currency exchange rate is too favorable for them to pass up. They are litteraly laughing as they go dining and shopping. Everything is a bargain to them. Like I said, the proper way for the Europeons to come to America is just with their clothes on their back. It will be cheaper for them to bring an empty suitcase and by new clothes here, than buy them back home.

Did you see it? Looked pretty scary to ride. Big, wide and flat tire; when it turns it has like 1mm of contact patch!

Yea. Thats why everyone calls the car tire on a motorcylce, the dark side. Google it. You will find all the pro's and con's of the tire.

The RC shop I work for does primarily online sales. The majority of those online sales is from overseas customers. With the dollar so week here, they buy thousands of dollars worth and we ship it over. Even with the heavy taxing on imports it is still cheaper.

Haha, tell me about it!!! My friend is off to america tomorrow and she is loving the conversion at the moment! Not only is the conversion good but the products in the USA are dirt cheap compared to what we all pay for them here. Its even worth everyones while to wait until the summer, fly to america, and buy all the clothes you need for the following year since you'll save hundreds!!!

At the moment: 1000 euro is 1583 dollars and 1000 sterling is 2000 dollars.

Have prices changed much for the US people on here? (haha...dont mention fuel prices...its dirt cheap in the US!! )

and, was it just me, or was the batcycle front wheel drive? OR both? Sorta looked weird to me, to see the front wheel powering as batman tried to separate...or that may have been just to show a wheel spinning, with the back too hard to do so decently.

That batmobile, weighs in at some 6 tons, and goes 70mph, pretty intense...my figures are probably off

I dont know about the drive wheel on the bike. Wasnt watching that close, but the MV was sick nasty. If I am not mistaken, the MV is where the quad exhaust that we know as lasers, come from.
