I'm thinking of going for a set of THESE!

They're 30mm upwards, so presumably there shouldn't be a problem with cable length? (I've got a 2004/5 FZ6S).

Anybody got a set of these or any experience with them?

All the cables will reach, you may have to slightly adjust the brake hydralic line(probably not). I have 1" up and 1&3/8" back. The brake line was taught but fit. I did later add SS brake lines and had them made slightly longer than stock..

30mm's will feel very different (IMO, much more comfy)

Cheers Scott.....with the up and backs things get a bit tighter re cables I would have thought. With the present stock layout I should be OK.

Hopefully it will make a diffference....the present height isn't a major issue for me....but as you know, our generation was brought up on higher bars. And they just feel more natural to me.

I'm too old for the laying down stuff.

As an FYI, I tried the 1" up only riser initially. It was considerably better but still too much weight on my wrists.

With the set back too, add another 100% to the comfort level.

I still lean forward slightly sitting on the bike but can tuck in if needed..

Sitting more up right also makes it easier to power wheelie in first and second gears should you desire.

My days of that are long gone Scott!

40 years ago pulling wheelies outside the girl's school......those were the days!

If I did that now I'd get my license revoked and put on the Sex Offender's Register! :D

Well the verdict is a big improvement with the risers!

Did 120 miles today on one of my tea bag runs.....and it felt much more natural.
