I was using a small Sony Cybershot T10... the "technique" consists of using your left hand (remove glove and sit on it beforehand) to remove camera from jacket inside pocket, flip the front face of the camera down (that's how it turns on), and hold the camera with your left hand's 4 fingers on top of it and the thumb below it, using your index to take the picture (I shoot blind, and keep my eyes on the road at all times). The self shot was a slight variation of that

I'll need much more experience to try something like this.
I was thinking that a "camera" stand might have some vibration, on top that it would be hard to get those angles - main reason for my curiosity -

Taking pictures in motion and of objects in motion is not that easy, this is not adding the fact that you're riding a bike.

Just get a camera that is easy to hold and operate like Wavex has and practice just sitting on the bike and not actually moving until you feel comfortable and then try it out on some deserted stretch of road and just shoot away.
I used to take pictures while moving with a Rollie minature 35mm film camera, had no idea how the pics turned out until they were developed. Its so much better today with digital:thumbup::thumbup:

Thanks for the tip, I'll get to practice, mostly to make sure I won't drop the camera:spank:

I do not want to deviate attention from my riding, I still have a long way to go, but I'll get to do this.
On the mean time I'm waiting for a GoPro camera, which I'll start using as soon as I get it, but apparently the vendor is having problems getting the requested amount of cameras from GoPro.

Of course, big advantage with the digital cameras, shot as many times as you want to, review on site and delete whatever won't work.
