So I went to take off my front axle so I could get my tire replaced but I could not get the axle to come loose. I had previously used the 3/4 bolt technique, but today the axle would not budge, it would just make the nuts slip. So instead of buying a tool for axle removal from cycle gear either 20 or 30 bucks depending on the brand, I found an AWESOME alternative on sportbikes.net and wanted to share it with you guys.

So take a 5/8 sparkplug socket and the back side is a 19 or 3/4 socket. Take the rubber insert out and then slide a 3/8 extension in backwards and you have a axle socket!!! It was free to me because I have a 5/8 spark plug socket and best of all it did not ruin it because the rubber insert for the spark plug came out quite easily.

This is an alternative to the bolt texhnique, and in my opinion even better because it is more solid. Hope this helps any of you.
