Looking for a Cruise control / Throttle controller device for the FZ6, sure would make long rides easier on my right hand.

Anyone have any suggestions on products?

Thanks!

It holds the throttle in place

thats what i thought, still not bad though for long trips, my old bike was carburated and had a choke, if i pulled the choke while in 6th gear it would cruise at 40 MPH, so it was good on the secondary highways where 35-40 was the speed limit to use that to sit back and stretch, adjust my gloves and such (anything that used my right hand) while riding.

that sounds a lot more dangerous than it seems...

Hmmm, the Throttlemeister is ~$120.

I found another product BrakeAway that retails for ~$200 which looks a little nicer and seems a lot safer...

I wonder if there are any other options for the FZ6?

I didn't see an FZ6 application on their site ...

Sorry, from one of the pages...

BrakeAway for Yamaha FZ6

By popular demand, we have successfully tested the 6CB03-03 BrakeAway on the Yamaha FZ6. This is the same configuration that we use on the Suzuki sport touring bikes. It just happens to be a perfect fit for the FZ6. We will be updating the fit list soon.
