Question Are S1 And S2 Wheels The Same?

Same part number, as I have the S1 without abs if I was was to get a wheel that came from an abs bike I'm guessing it would be OK?

Can you give us a link to the parts break down?

Here's the full break down for every 600 Yamaha does: https://www.bike-parts-yam.com/yamaha-motorcycle/600-MOTO

Here's the front wheel diagram for the 2006 ABS model: https://www.bike-parts-yam.com/yama...S/FZ6-SA/FRONT-WHEEL/16_1631-1631/B29/0/23198

If you look at Part 10 "Housing sensor front", you can see the spacer is built into that, rather than being a separate part (see Part 8 here: https://www.bike-parts-yam.com/yama...FZ6/FZ6-N/FRONT-WHEEL/15_1506-1506/B29/0/5008 for the non-ABS version)

You *might* be able to use a regular spacer on an ABS wheel, but I believe the wheel is also cast slightly differently to work with the ABS sensor.

I kind of doubt it as the 'bearing spacer' is also different for the ABS bikes, making me think the distance between bearings is different.
However, it may work if you include the sensor instead of using the collar.

All this talk has been about the front wheel, but it has never been specified, @Johnski , it is the front and not the rear you are asking about?

Also, the non-ABS version wheel (5SL251680098) was used in several years of R6 models, so may be more common to find used.
