Anyone Ride through a Drive Through?

So, I am just curious; has anyone ever gone through a drive through with there bike and trip the sensors? I was just curious if the motorcycle was capable or not in doing this. I usually always have my tank bag on the bike when I'm heading to work. I just want to know if it can be done or not. If it can be done does it take a lot of tries? I am just being lazy, that's all.

Yes, I don't even think about it anymore. I don't really eat too much fast food, but my bike is my primary vehicle, and I've taken it through the drive through at least 50 times.

Only a handful of times have they not sensed me - in which case I would just drive up to the window and place my order.

ive always thought about it, never done it, i carry a cargo net on the back for when i pick up food but usually just walk in.. hmm something to try

now.. a few years ago, someone came through the drive through at the pizza shop i worked at on a scooter, he put the box sideways in his basket.. i cant imagine the pizza lookinf appetizing when he got home

Hellz yeah I've gone through a drive thru on the bike tons of times!! I don't even think about it anymore. I make pit stops every morning at the McDonald's up the street from my house to order a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit value meal every morning. I put everything in my backpack and i have a lil thermos that they use to put my drink in instead of a cup.

It's pretty cool that the people there already know me. They hear the bike and the know its me >.<

I did, when I was about 10-12 years old.

When the local Maccas got its drive thru myself and a mate went through on our BMX bikes!

Hope to this day the people in the restaurant were laughing with us & not at us.

And most importantly, don't forget the automatic Motorcycle Rider discount offered at every drive thru!

Just look down when you stop next to the window. Lot's of loose change that the customer has dropped. Since I usually have to dismount and take my gloves off, and store my food in my tail bag, this is the time that I take advantage of the discount.

I had thought about it but always came to the same conclusion, One being I don't need the fast food. and the other being I'd have to take my helmet off to talk with them when ordering the food and at the other windows.

I have a couple times but the only time I eat fast food is when I make a lunch run for work so I just go in the people at Mcdonalds know me now and know how to pack food for six people so I can get it in my backpack.

I have taken my bike through drive-throughs in the past, usually the sensor picks it up. On a slightly related note, just today I was riding by a McDonalds and what do I see at the drive-through menu but a fat lady on a Hoveround! Aside from the fact that she probably shouldn't have been at McDonalds, I would never have thought the thing would trigger the sensor.

afaik it's a visual sensor, not a weight sensor. You could walk in front of it.

I go through the drive-thru late at night (like right now) when there's nothing else open, I want a snack, and I don't feel like cooking. I can talk though my helmet and stuff, the only thing that's a pain is when I get a big bag of food and need to put it in my bag - I generally have to do it while sitting in front of the pickup window, and for some reason the people behind me are always really antsy and honk at me when they have to wait more than 14 extra seconds for their triple cheeseburger with extra cheese and quadruple mayo :don'tknow:

Usually if i do so, I would just get a burger.
Once though, my ex-gf holded the coke for me on my shoulder.

If you fast-food, bike drive-thru'ers had any guts, you would enter in through the exit end. If there are others already in queue, you motion for them to all BACK UP. You then place your order. What's the mgr gonna do: call the cops?
