anyone know how to get blue ink pen off of white shoes?

my delightful three year old decided to enhance my shoes and i'm struggling to get the pen off. two week old white nike high-tops. now there's blue pen over the toe and on one side. i've been scrubbing with soapy water... then went to a magic eraser... then tried a pencil eraser... finally to pure bleach on a washcloth. it's faded, but still there. anyone have any tips?

Try rubbing alcohol

GOOP...or any hand cleaner that will remove grease from your hand's should do the trick...(make sure it's not the kind with pumice)might take the finish off of them.. :rockon:

White leather or canvas?

If leather, try wd-40. If canvas, try 409.

Just color the whole shoe with the blue pen. Problem solved and it will be totally unique!

We use 100% alcohol here in the lab to remove Sharpie marks (non porous surfaces). I think that is why the hairspray works..alcohol content. But I think giving her the pen and having her "decorate" your shoes even more would be a better option! They would be DESIGNER Nike's then!!
