So my FZ1 bars finally came... but they came damaged. I sent an e-mail off to PartShark and they want proof to see how bad the "damage" is.

Check out this crap. Box and packing look good, but knicks all over the place. Hope they replace them for me.

Yeah, that sucks! Maybe you got the bars that metric parts outlet or fedex lost of mine!:BLAA: I waited 6 weeks because someone in my house:don'tknow:refused to sign for them, then fedex lost them.....

So they got back to me today and said that they can refund me $15 and I can keep the bars or I can ship the bars back to them AT MY EXPENSE and they will send out new ones.

I wrote back saying I want a new set and I don't think it should be my responsibility to cover the return shipping. Hell if I'm paying $10-15 to ship back a damaged set of $28 bars that wasn't my fault.

We'll see what they say. Either Yamaha or them screwed up... I'm not taking the hit for it.

That sucks. I've ordered from them twice with no issues, but never had to deal with CS. Hope they take care of you.

Did you pay via PayPal? If so, there may be a way to report a problem through that - as with Ebay.

Just an idea. But there is no way I'd be paying freight when the product is faulty/damaged.

Keep us informed.
