so im sitting at my dorm apartment dining room/college party table sewing together 2 bandanas to line the hood of a jacket that i also sewed together. and was wondering if anybody else has any strange hobbies that they wanna share. keep in mind for me im a 19 year old male engineering student doing this on a friday night...:disapprove:

i also collect random hotwheels and matchbox cars

EDIT: i also work on cars/bikes, play guitar, and build random stuff. but im wondering what do you do thats out of character, or "the norm" for a the stereotype or just "out there" kinds of stuff

Well, at least your forum Handle is now seared into my brain permanently!

My hobbies aren't really weird:
(Photography, skiing, motorcycling, woodworking, music, cooking)
...but they aren't traditionally "manly", I don't:
(hunt, fish, play team sports, shoot, or rebuild carburetors)

This'll be a fun thread to watch... :BLAA:

EDIT: oh yeah, what branch of engineering? I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering, MS in Industrial Engineering, and an Associate's degree in Munitions Technology. :boom:

Weird hobbies? I enjoy surfing certain motorcycle brand/model specific forum sites when I should be sleeping so I can be rested for work tomorrow! :spank:

I fly RC Helicopters and teach beginner guitar and bass. I call the teaching a hobby because I do it for free, I teach kids that can't afford it otherwise.

Oh and beer drinking... Yea it's a hobby I spent a lot of money at it and get nothing in return.

used to fly rc planes with my dad and a kid from school but havent done that in a couple of years

Got involved in community radio a few years back, not sure if it qualifies as a hobby, but an out of hours voluntary interest that allows me to do something I love ,listening to music, so its all good,
BTW. This coming thursday. east australian daylight saving time 6-8pm I'm on air again. The comfortably numb rock and blues show and we try to fill requests, email to [email protected]

Sorry for the little highjack

The other kinda hobby is food fusion cooking, think meditterranean-thai, indian-greek
Mixing up the whole spice rack, not all togeter but trying for complimentary dishes only really bombed a few times

Sent from the phone: sorry 'bout my spileng, fat fingers...you know!

I play military sim paintball. Not necessarily weird but only my "paint ball" friends play too.

Then again my "motorcycle" friends are another group all together too.

4th of July Call of Duty game in 2010. It was over 100 degrees that day, I actually made myself dizzy from the heat.

I'm also a Freemason, some people might consider that weird?

I like tannerite!!! That's all I'm saying about that, if you don't know what it is then go on youtube and search tannerite. And I wouldn't call this weird but I love hunting, and just being "lost" in the woods by myself

Dunno if its weird but all my friends & family ask me Why ??....... I collect hats/caps , last count was 257 & have everything from a genuine Green Bay Cheesehead :cheer: :cheer:  to my most prized hat of all..... A genuine BB63 USS Missouri Captain's hat  given to me by Captain James Carney when Mighty Mo visited Sydney in 1986 & my family got to tour her    I also saw her perform a full broadside just outside Sydney Heads :D NEVER EVER will I forget that day

I also collect MetallicA stuff.... Nothing weird there !!

My family has gotten into Geocaching. I wouldn't think it to be weird but I only know a few who do it.

I don't get into sports like most of guys I know. I have to admit to not even knowing who's playing in the Superbowl and it's tomorrow, I consider that to be kinda weird. So would that be an anti-hobbie?
