I am wanting to get new grips (not grip puppies). Could anyone please give recommendations? I want a nice soft grip that holds tight and on the 'smoother' side not having any ridiculous crossing pattterns.

Also, what fits best, 120mm or 125mm. I know, I know, a whole 5mm but I think it could make a big difference.

i got the progrip 842's n they're pretty nice the only downside is that the throttle side has to be chopped off a lot bc it will stick to the bar end which is VERY dangerous!:spank:

I've used progrip 714s on everything from my crf450 to the FZ to the old CB750F. They worked great on them all.

Hate and love it when the problem is which grip do I choose because they are all so good. I would love to hear more input from other progrip users just to see what we come up with. Was thinking about doing a poll but way too many choices. Thanks everyone who has commented already

decided to add a poll to see what seems to be the most common. Yes, I know, I forgot the 724s as far as most common grips go

I had the 717s for 2 years till they wore out. I bought rubber Oxford ones thinking they would be the same and they were horrible. So hard and vibey! So I bought another set of 717s! :D Check my site link for pics of the originals. Not got pics of the replacements yet. But they are the same grey ones, They are the most subtle I think!

I just put a set of 717's on my FZ1 bar along with HVMP bar ends.
No more vibes (well, actually, just moved the vibes up to the 10K rpm area, but I'm hardly ever there unless I'm bootin' it around).

Have the 717's on my '87 GSX550 as well, super mushy and again, really helps to quell the vibes.
