A couple months back a forum member offered up his Tall Corbin seat, in prep for going back to a cruiser-style bike. I was fortunate enough to be the first to respond, and soon had it on my bike.
The seat was beautiful and very well-made, and I loved the extra leg-room. But, it just didn't match my tuckus and I swapped back to the OEM seat (another forum member sent me a PM to let him know if I didn't like it, he was interested, so now its in Texas somewhere).
I really dug the extra legroom that Corbin gave me, however (I'm 6'5") and decided to take a chance on a Top Saddlery seat (you can order Tall versions from them, too). Well, tonight I noticed an email from them, it had shipped. There was a link to track the package, something I've never clicked on before but since this was coming from France I did.
Pretty cool, got a world map and it went thru three cities in France (including Le Mans, :rockon: ), on to Philadelphia, thru Kentucky, and it was now in Ogden. The Status box read "Out for Delivery"!! :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
So, I'm keeping an eye out the window for the Man in the Brown Shorts, I was pretty surprised how quickly the seat was built (each one is custom-built after you order it) and shipped halfway across the world. We're supposed to have yet another snowstorm blow thru tomorrow, but a clear weekend is forecast so I'll get my new saddle put on, my replacement Grip Puppies (that'll be another thread), do an oil change, and break in that new seat, w00t! :thumbup:
