So apparently I am a procrastinator and have not winterized the bike yet, ie battery tender, fuel stabilizer. The reason for this is as parts that I ordered come in I am installing them (turn signals, FE kit, LED Taillight). It is being stored in a garage, so it is cool and dry. My main point is that every week or two I take it out and run it for a few, let it get up to temp. and rev it up, nothing extreme, just to get the fluids moving and battery somewhat charged. I can't really take it out on the roads cause of the sand they throw down. So I am figuring it will be fine with this pattern. I think the worst that will happen is the battery might be low but it's been strong so far. Has anyone ever really had an issue with winter storage? I can't imagine that gas would go bad after only a few months.

I have a similar type question...I did put in stabilizer but the battery tender I have has the wire I had to permanently hook up to the battery. Do I have to disconnect my other battery wires before I put on the tender?

No you can leave it wired into the bike just fine.

Starting and running them is really not good unless the bike gets up to operating temp and stays there for 15-20 minutes.
