McLovin
plain evil
..and I wasnt even riding my bike.
I was in Eagle Rock, Glendale, had lunch, crossing the street on foot with my girlfriend towards target on Colorado and Sierra Via. And Right when we were in the middle of the last lane, I heard tires screeching, not a brake screech but like they do when you take a corner too hard. So I look up and there was a dark color SUV literally 10ft away coming at us at full speed with screeching tires thru the turn. I had a good grip on my gf's shirt ready to throw her out of the way and as i did that, the guy swerved around me and stopped past me. I was so hyped on adrenalin I yelled him to stop repeatedly 4 times and he looked at me in the eye and drove off. His plate is 4FRE342, a dark SUV with a fat bastard in it. Already reported to the cops. He drove into the residency on Sierra Via.
And I never had this happen to me so it was very weird. I had 1-2 bad close calls on the bike which didnt feel like this at all. When I saw the car i remember thinking clearly, "wow I am getting run over right now, this is really happening.." That half a second where I saw the car and he swerved around us felt like a long time. I definitely understand that whole film strip thing now. It was slow motion.
This was definitely sobering to me. i realized that I should maybe stop feeling so secure in my little world while i walk the streets.. Maybe the motorcycle riders philosophy need to be adapted to life in general. I am invisible and all are out to get me.
Maniacs are out there although it seems like this kinda **** happens only in movies or to other people. Watch out friends..
