Aftermarket exhaust and fuelling

hey guys,
if/when you've fitted an after market exhaust to a 04-06 FZ6 have you had to get a power comander as well or has it been ok without?

i'm looking to get leo vince sbk cans on my 2006 FZ6

What is Power Commander?
The Dynojet Power Commander plugs inline with your bike’s stock fuel injection system. It uses OEM (original equipment manufacturer) style connectors making installation easy and quick. The PCIIIusb allows a full range of fuel adjustment, as much as +/- 100% over stock. Adjustments can be made either with a Windows based computer or by using the face plate mounted button adjusters. No permanent changes are made to the bike’s system. Once the unit is removed the bike reverts to its stock settings.

The Power Commander allows for tuning to the perfect air/fuel ratio will ensure that the engine can produce the maximum possible horsepower for that given combination.

It just remaps the Fuel & Air flow to better compensate for the new backpreasures of the aftermarket exhaust.

My Two Bro's Cans and bike run fine without a PCIII!

If you did the air box mod, K&N filter and running no CAT, then I would deffinately invest in a PCIII.

power commanders are worth it. i am running leos without cat and no power commander. it doesnt run bad or anything but without the power commander your bike wont get properly tuned. two of my buddies have power commanders with exhaust on their bike and it makes a huge difference,like power wheelies in second gear on a 600. the bike will run fine but there are chances it will run too lean/rich. and also my bike idles alittle bit higher now.

nope, it will fun fine, just with the PC it will give it a little extra kick in the pants.
