After 10 years of waiting, probably getting an FZ6

Yeah when I pick up the bike, I'll have my mechanic brother with me, so he can look it over with me real quick as well. I want to get a closer look at the brakes, and check the date codes on the tires. I had the guy start it for me when I went to see it, and it fired right up. That Leo Vince sounds glorious! But yeah, didn't struggle or sputter at all. The previous owner definitely took care of it, that's for sure.

Went to the Chicago Motorcycle Show yesterday, good times. Got to sit on my dream bikes. I was much more impressed with the Street Triple R than the Ducati Monster 821.

Other than $500 off any new Kawasaki, I didn't run into any crazy deals, so the FZ6 is going to happen. Calling the dealer at some point today to schedule paperwork/pickup!

I test rode a new Street Triple R a couple weeks ago. That bike corners beautifully and sounds amazing. I'm close to pulling the trigger on it.

The Street Triple R is definitely going to be my next bike. I'll probably have the FZ6 for quite a while, but eventually the STR is my goal. Surprisingly comfy even though it looks like a rocket. I love everything about it.

It was very comfy; however, I did miss the windshield and fairings from my Sprint ST when I got on the freeway. hahaha

Welcome. I'm in Chicago, but have quite a few friends in Gurnee and even Beach Park. Get into the local section and intro yourself as well. Even though it seems like we have quite a few Chicago guys, we never end up getting together.

I bought my 09 2 years ago, and I believe I paid $4500 with 5-7k miles. You are definitely getting a fair/ good deal, especially with the exhaust. Its tough to spend 800 bucks on an exhaust for a bike that cost less than 5k :)

Get yourself some gear, and spend as much time on it as you can, and get comfortable.
