adapting s1 fender on s2 fork?

Hi all, i hope there is no other thread about it, but the search did'nt return anything....

anywhere, i have bought a copule of s2 fork legs, to fit to my s1 fz6, due to change the brakes without spending too much money. They fit well, but the upper fender brackets are to low for the original s1 fender. I llooked on ebay, but i cant find any used s2 fender to exchange my one, so i think i have to build some adapters.

There is someone who already done this fittings, that want to share his knowledge?

anyone who has an idea to avoid a long sweet spilling work?:BLAA:

I know this a little bit off topic and doesn't answer your question, but my only constant internet access is on my phone and thread searches are nearly impossible, but I wanted to ask; you swapped the S1 forks for S2 forks? Was it straight forward like just taking off the old ones and putting the new ones on? Where you able to use the S1's wheels, axle, and rotor with the S2 forks and brakes? Did you use the S1 master cylinder or put a S2?

If there is already a thread covering this please post it for me so I can check it out. Thank you very much.
