A little bit of reading material.

The Fazer 600 was originally launched in 1998 and not 2004. The 2004 model was the first major rework for the machine in its 6 years of production. European sales of the machine were very impressive as the Fazer 600 offered sport styling along with the 95 horsepower and 45 pounds of torque to back it up. As you can see from the attached picture Yamaha was wise to keep some of the traditional style and designs that made the bike so popular when it originally came out. For ten years now this bike has been on the short list for most poular machines in Europe and so it should be as the bike is quite versatile. In North America the bike has not caught on as well due in part to the demand for the full bodied sportbikes of the same class. Traditionally Americans have not taken well to naked machines but their following is gaining some support although slow.

One of my mates has a Fazer 600. When you park them next to each other they look very similar indeed, despite being totally different in the detail.
