Welcome!!!
Two other things to consider:
http://www.600riders.com/forum/fz6-mods/50208-what-mirrors-do-you-have-your-motorcycle.html
I replaced my mirrors with R6 style aftermarkets. I'm not an exceptionally bulky guy but I had to twist in the seat to see anything other than my side or elbows using the stock mirrors. The R6 styles are much better though not perfect. They stick out more than up and are a bit wider than stock.
The other one that really bugged me was the speedometer error. There are many threads on this forum that talk about the fact that the speedos tend to read higher than actual. Some guys just change the front sprocket from 16 to 17 tooth and it gets closer to but the gearing is a bit higher which doesn't help at the low end. The other approach is to buy a device that makes an adjustable correction. I bought the SpeedoDRD and I'm pleased with it. I needed a -4.5% correction. The other one used often, probably more often, is the Speedohealer.
