Hi guys,

I'm not really dead set on selling my bike, but I thought I'd float the idea to see if I could get what I'm asking.

As the subject line suggests, I have a 2008 Black FZ6. I'm the second owner. I bought it from the first owner (who used it as a commuter) in Fall 2008 with ~1,800 miles on it. It has ~2,500 miles on it now. I had it professionally serviced at ~2,000 miles, and since then I've changed the oil and filter and cleaned the chain regularly. I removed the "warning" stickers as well as the FZ6 stickerage on the upper fairings, so it looks cleaner to me. I've been going for an "all black" theme.

I suppose it should be said that it has never even come close to having been laid down. I took the full MSF class before I bought this bike and I feel I'm a very careful person. I took extreme care of the bike, and it's always been garaged, and has only been ridden in the rain once.

I've put a few mods on the bike that I'd be willing to include if someone pays my full asking price. Please don't ask me to part them out now because, at this point, I'm not willing to do so. Here are the mods:

- Pazzo shorty levers (black on black)
- Rizoma Sportline billet grips + bar ends
- TCP seat cowl w/ Yamaha logo
- Fender eliminator w/ LED rear signals
- T-Rex frame sliders (never used...thankfully)

KBB retail is $4785 w/o the mods. I'm trying to settle on a realistic asking price. Considering the mods and the other bikes for sale on this forum, I'll ask $4,250. Clean and clear New Mexico title is in hand. Email me if you're interested and I'll email some hi-res pictures -- [email protected].

Thanks guys.

Almost 100 views and no replies. Thought I'd post some pics to perhaps drum up some interest.

Note the dust on the bike in the pics. It's been in the garage uncovered for the past few weeks without having been ridden, and I didn't feel like cleaning it off before the pics.

I realize it's only been a few days, but I was hoping some of the other forum members could give me some feedback on the price. Too high? About right?

Thanks for the NADA price marker. Looks like I'm about smack in the middle of the high retail and low retail at $4,250. And, of course, I'd like to think my bike is in the condition commensurate with high retail!

Still no serious bites. No one interested here?
