Now that I'm seriously looking at bikes, i came across this one and it looks good, decent starting price and it's in the color i'd prefer lol.... so anyways What are your thoughts on this bike and what would you try and knock the price down to? (obviously I'd give it a good look over before i bought anything) anyways heres some pics/ the link:

Thanks ahead of time!

Hey Rick,

I have this same bike and color...though mine is naked now. The KBB on this is about $3900. If they want $3500 with that low of mileage, you can't expect to pay a whole lot less....unless they either don't know it's value, or are desperate for the cash.

Good luck!

Thanks for the quick replies! Was thinkin 3500 was a pretty fair price for it myself, but i'm new to the world of buying motor vehicles so thought i'd ask :D

Ask for list of mods too. I can see it has aftermarket windscreen with gaudy bolts. Some sort of fender eliminator installed and center stand is gone. Would be good to know what else he'd done to it (any electrical or engine stuff).

Thanks for pointing that out, kinda bummed he removed the center stand, and i see its 100 bucks for an oem one..

Also not a huge fan of the windscreen bolts... im sure that isnt too much to return to stock though...

hmmmm...Well that's one way to meet a fellow Rochestarian. I actually bought this very bike off the guy over the weekend. Sorry! It does need new windshield bolts. Those are spikes like you'd see on a medieval helmet or something. Sharp as hell; definitely need to go. He added red ground effect type lights for night which I may take off depending on how they look ( I checked it out during the day and couldn't really see them ), aftermarket mini LED turn signals all around, FE kit, cover, blacked out windscreen, frame sliders, tank protector, and doesn't have the center stand ( which I'd have yanked off anyway ). Mileage when I read the posting actually said 6,300 miles which was correct. It has a year left on factory extended warranty ( transferrable ), and he's got records. It is in mint shape and it is adult owned as advertised. I should have all the DMV stuff done by this weekend so I can start riding.

I have the naked conversion planned for the winter, which is what originally brought me to these forums. Anyway, nice to meet you dxh24. Perhaps we can get to ride together at some point. I only know of one "bike night" in Rochester, and I only have 2 friends who have bikes. I hear there are some great roads out in Bristol which isn't far from Victor where I live.

Congrats! You got yourself a great deal!

I guess dxh24's search continues.. good luck!

If the bike is clean and runs good, $3500. seems like a reasonable price.
I wonder why it has such low mileage?.
