200 miles one tank

I got ~53 mpg during my break-in period.

I tend to use the throttle a little more since and have been averaging the low to mid 40s.

I've got an 2006, and I've ageraging about 49mpg (21km/l). I ride 100 km (60miles) per day. Mostly highway. Speed is aroun 100km/h (60mph)

new record for me!!!!!

today is the first time I broke the 200 mile mark on one tank exact mileage was 206.5 miles topped it off with 4.55 gallons of premo
:Sport:

I am impressed with mine

Not had it long, first long ride 232 miles and 62 MPG !!
This was a mix of 80 ish motorway, and fast ish A roads.
Next tank, steady 90 mph on the motorway and it still got 206 miles and 53 MPG.
These are proper Gallons, 4.5461 litres.
Bike has a set of Acropovic cans, no baffles and a Power Commander with the proper downloaded map.

Danny try using regular and then measure your milage per gallon. There is actually more energy in regular fuel than premium. Unless your engine can advance timing (ours cant) to use the higher octane of premium it is actually less energy for more money.

I've thought about trying 87 octane but some how every time I go to the pump I just can't let myself do it. as far as the fuel mileage goes, my average is 172 miles usually just after I get a blinking fuel bar. today I had 183 miles before the warning so I figured I could run it till my normal fuel stop. my MPG averaged out to 45+ MPG, not to bad considering my last fuel stop was in Big Bear over 150 miles away + one day to and from work. if I would slow down I could do better but, I don't ride for the utilitarian aspect of it.:D

ive only got about 1400 or so miles on the 07, and ive gotten 46 everytime i have filled up. hopefully it gets better the more the motors breaks in

I am curious who has gone the farthest on the blinking light? It would be nice to know just in case. Looks light 22.6 by Sportrider is tops for now.

I've gone a little further with 24.2 miles on the blinking light I put in 4.6 galUS so about .5 left, which makes 50 miles to empty seem about right

Congrats, you have now gone the farthest on the reserve. Nice to know that the Fz6 can at least go 38 miles with the blinking light. I have to admit, I was around 23 miles with the light on, and chickened out and fueled up. I think I put in about 4.2 gal.

the last two days I've turned up the pace going to work, today I left my house with one bar, 21 miles into my 29.6 mile commute I got the flashing light. I continued the remaining 7.5 miles to work. after work I though "lets see how far I can go". I rode all the way back to my normal fuel stop that is 3.9 miles from my house. the bike took 4.77 gallons of (GASP) 87 octane, and the fuel trip was reading 33.2 miles. if I had been running my normal pace I would have run out of gas.(I rode home at 70MPH)

you want to know how bad your fuel mileage can be?
if you accelerate hard and maintane triple digits you can go 170.1 miles on 4.77 gallons and average a whopping 35.66 MPG. I got a low fuel warning at 129.4 miles :D but what a great 76 minutes it was!!!!

Danny, you're crazy and amazing! LOL.....Thanks for letting us fellow members know how bad our mileage can get! Be safe!

here is my record..

My last consumption is;

360 km. (225 mile) with 16 liter (95 octane unleaded)(4,23 us galon) in the city. (Ankara/TURKEY 860 m altitude aprox. 2821 ft.) (at the summer time)(august).

22.5 km./liter > 53.23 mpg in the city. (range 4,000 -7,000 rmp)

P.S. we are not a communist country. :) All European countries use the metric system. Except UK.
