Thanks NH! I've finally gotten to ride with the X-11 a couple of times and all I can say is, WOW! Seriously, this thing is just amazing.
One thing I'd read about the X-11's is that they can be loud considering how many vents they've got, but I think it's much more quiet than either my Scorpion EXO-400 or HJC's. It's also the lightest helmet I've ever had and you can really tell a difference, even after an hour-long ride. There's much less fatigue in my neck.
The biggest thing, though, is the venting. This is the only helmet I've ever had where I could tell a difference between when the vents are open and when they're not. When all vents are open, it just flows a ton of air across your forehead and especially the top of your head.
If you can afford one, I HIGHLY recommend the X-11.
