Sounds like both you & Ozzieboy need to get to the track to feed that addiction to going hard! It's a bugger, and has taken me a long time to do it...but it's a lot more fun, not worrying about Mr Plod!

I know.. It's a pitty that the closest FIA-approved track is pretty far away. And it costs a leg and an arm to attend track days as far as I know. Besides, there really isn't that many track days anyway.

Still, I never ride beyond what i can control. Never ride hard in traffic or densely populated areas. Remember, I have a little kid that probably wants her father to stay around a bit longer;)

Nice post, it made me feel like I had just passed my test again :) unfortunately like everything you get used to it, nowadays it's quite normal for me to exceed 10,000 RPM when joining a motorway or other occasion when acceleration is called for and the 'buzz' once experienced is not there anymore.
