No spark starter button stoped

Hey I have a I think o4 fz6 and when I got it it was frozen I got it free and clean in there but the ignition was messed up so it just had the 2 pares of wires going to it anyway I accidentally touched the two pares of wires together each pare was twisted together separately now it won’t turn over with the button but the dash still lights up don’t seem to be geting spark when I short out the starter relay what should I do next I’m kinda stuck

Hi there

I know nothing about electrial but I had a starter issue a couple of months ago. It turned out to be my starter soleniod on top of the battery. There is a couple of fuses there also.

04 FZ6 No Crank
